Chezmono's Thoughts On The Top 10 Best Characters

Let's keep this short and sweet, the title is self-explanatory. This is the list of my top favorite characters and some of the reasons why I like them the best. Keep in mind, knowing me, I'm most likely going to forget some of my favorites here. And just to make it clear how much knowledge I have on the Star Wars Universe, here's what I've seen or read or whatever...

- Star Wars: Episodes I-VII

- Star Wars Rebels [Seasons 1 & 2]

- Star Wars: The Clone Wars [Season 1 & Season 2 Episodes 1-5]

- Dozens, Probably Hundreds, Of Star Wars YouTube Videos

- 10 Hours Of Star Wars: Knights Of The Old Republic gameplay

- Tons Of Research

- Other Sources

10 - Mace Windu

Let's be honest, some of the reasons why Mace Windu is anyone's favorite are pretty damn obvious. He is well-known for his rare purple-tinted lightsaber, and he is pretty badass overall. He's intelligent, physically intimidating, and... look at that death stare. Mace was so close to defeating the mighty Darth Sidious, and he probably would've if Anakin hadn't backstabbed him.

9 - Kit Fisto

Now, I may not know as much about Kit Fisto as the next guy, but how much do you really need to know? He's the most awesome-looking fish-man-thing ever! I mean, he'd be even cooler as a Sith, but Jedi should do... CUZ LOOK AT THAT SMILE! Other than his look, he is a skilled combatant who somehow single-handedly owned General Grievous in Season 1 of The Clone Wars. Don't ask me how, but he did it. Now, go worship him for the rest of your worthless life.

8 - Ahsoka Tano

If you're one of those people wondering why Obi-Wan isn't on this list, and might be assuming he's up ahead, don't get your hopes up. I really only like him in the prequels and The Clone Wars, and even there he gets annoying. Well, in place of him for The Clone Wars, here we have Ahsoka, who is also in Rebels now. I just read about her on Wookieepedia and am still thinking: Did she seriously die and get resurrected? Back in her days of being the cute, annoying "Snips", I'm not so sure I'd save her from death. Anyway, I really like her character in Rebels, and really want to see some more battle scenes between her and Maul, maybe with Kanan involved. Her white lightsabers and the way she holds them backwards are really a change of scenery. All we ever really see is one lightsaber that's either red, green, or blue, it gets old after a while. It also doesn't hurt that Ahsoka is pretty nice-looking. Don't get me wrong, I don't have a crush on her character or anything, but if I were in that universe, I'd certainly be tempted to go for it. What screams 'Fist me, daddy' like "I'm no Jedi"? Okay, I've gone way too far with this,

moving on...

7 - Kanan Jarrus

From Caleb Dume to Kanan Jarrus, this dude is just straight-up amazing. Who cares if he's blind other than his loved ones and his enemies who wish to kill him? He's still awesome, and the blindness might actually improve that. His blindness makes him a more intriguing character and I am really looking forward to what happens with him in the future. He is a great mentor, a brave opponent, and a step in the direction to a new way for a Jedi to think. Something I really don't approve of, though, is the Rebels people dumbing down his look for Season 3. Most, if not all, of his armor is gone, and his mask just doesn't look that cool at all. Though, I'm hoping that this new, armorless look will improve his speed a great deal in combat, making it easier for him to win a lot of duels.

6 - Mission Vao

Ah... Mission Vao. After ten hours of KotOR, I still don't understand why my character wasn't alone in bed with her. Well, that's life. Other than being a cute character, she's another tough person with a Wookiee for a best friend, classic. I enjoyed hearing her voice and what she had to say, as well. Okay, I can't shut up about this, LOOK AT THOSE EYES...

5 - Boba Fett

How can you not love the legend himself? Boba Fett has one of the most awesome helmets in the Star Wars universe and is one of the most badass bounty hunters to ever live. Disregard the fact that he allowed himself to almost die so easily in that sarlacc pit. At least Bobes still has his survival canon, despite Disney wiping out all that other shit. Personally, I have three weeks to read a Star Wars novel as my Summer reading for high school. Wish me luck. ;D

Then there's that one guy who's like...

4 - Ben Solo

My favorite of The Force Awakens cast, Kylo Ren. Sorry, but Rey is suckish, and Finn and Poe's bromance can't beat this guy. Don't dare expect to see me put Han and Chewbacca above my bro Kylo, or Luke and Leia, for that matter. Kylo Ren's outfit and lightsaber are just absolutely amazing. His masked voice is darker than Vader's according to my ears, which could maybe be a symbol that he's darker, just thought of that. His temper tantrums are ridiculous, but I overlook them. I also have his mask and lightsaber, don't judge me. I'd like to see him turn halfway to the Light Side with a purple double-bladed lightsaber...

3 - Ezra Bridger

Do I even have to explain? Any of my fellow Rebels fan should easily be able to understand why Ezra is such an amazing character. I love seeing this kid's story progress, especially with Maul involved. Seeing Maul have an apprentice and no longer being known as a Sith lord is very interesting. Oh, uh, "spoiler alert". I do not approve at all that he got a haircut in between seasons, but I can get used to it. Something I can't get used to is why he now has a green lightsaber. I don't want to see him fight the Dark Side, let's all see him join it. Come on, be honest, raise your hand if you want to see Ezra as a Jedi for the entire series. All of you who just raised your hands, shame on you, we need Darth, uh, something fitting for Ezra.

2 - Anakin Skywalker

My boy Vader, the one and only. Though, in all honesty, I like him better as Anakin Skywalker, before he got burned alive and ended up in his life-sustaining suit. From Master of Snips to Sith Master, as if being a Jedi Master didn't make him powerful enough. Oh, those biceps. Now, believe me, I'm straight, but Padme must really enjoy nights with him... Anyway, Anakin is a handsome man and one of the most powerful Jedi (and perhaps Sith) to ever live. Well, then there's the matter that this all takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away... That means a lot has happened since then, so he probably just faded off into history. Still, in Episodes I throught VII, Anakin has proven to be the legacy of the Star Wars movies and one of the most crucial parts of the franchise.

1 - Maul

Ah, come on, try to tell me you're shocked to see him at the top of my list. The proud Zabrak seeking vengeance against his enemies for his mother and brother, (formerly Darth) Maul in all his glory. As if his look didn't make him look cool enough, his backstory is amazing, his story in general is awesome, and I can't wait to see his future. Still rocking a double-bladed red-tinted lightsaber with red tattoos to match, he is still mysterious as ever with intentions that are clear yet always unclear at the same time. Maul is the best character I've come to know in this universe. He's like a core background character that makes Star Wars what it is whenever he's introduced into the storyline. Truly wonderful.

Well, that's it for this Chezmono's Thoughts. To anyone who cares, sorry it was a day late, almost two days. I really need to keep up my schedule. Though, it was pretty hard to stay on schedule when I passed out for eleven hours from sleep deprivation.
